Almost two years after the Kansas City Chiefs beat them in a thriller of a Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles have finally gotten their revenge, winning 40-22, and gaining the franchise its second ever Lombardi Trophy.

This was a thrilling game to watch for me and my family. My Mom is a native of Philadelphia and we were rooting for the Eagles all day Sunday.
In this one-sided game, the Eagles dominated from the start, shocking the world and the Chief’s sideline.
The Eagles defense really brought its A-game last night, something many teams have failed to do against the Chiefs this season with six sacks without even having to blitz, two interceptions and one pick-six. This game proved the saying “defense wins championships” is true.
The offense also performed exceptionally, showing why they are one of the best in the league with Quarterback Jalen Hurts throwing for 221 yards, rushing for 72 and accounting for three touchdowns. He threw just five incompletions with one interception for a QB rating of 119.7.
The Chiefs looked out of it the entire game up until the last quarter where they finally showed some life, but it was too little too late for them to shake it off.
Philadelphia was the complete opposite; they were locked in the entire game, and they were definitely the better team in this contest.
The other teams in the NFL better look out and fear the Eagles because there is a new chief in town.
