The season of Spring is often designated as a time for new opportunities and beginnings, but for the CT State Manchester campus, it marks a number of “Goodbyes” as well. Four members of faculty and staff are retiring from their positions at CT State Manchester. They have all committed years of their lives to the institution.
Those in professions that place them on a college campus witness a variety of changes during their years of work. Gaining insight into their professional careers, as well as the life they’ve structured around them is highly beneficial.
Four CT State Manchester students interviewed the respective retirees and accessed a small portion of the knowledge they’ve attained throughout their years. From teaching, to facilities, to administration, here are their diverse perspectives on CT State Manchester and the concept of retiring itself from professionals completing their final months with the institution.
