Michael Howard, aka “Mike Nice,” visited the campus March 11 to discuss his career as an interviewer and commentator of all things ESPN. Several students, including Monique Frazier, above, attended the event.

Michael Howard, aka “Mike Nice” visited CT State Manchester on March 11 to discuss his two decades as executive producer and host of “The Mike Nice Talk Show” on Citizens Television. He is ending his media career with a two part documentary, The Sport of Reporting: Legends Only. The movie premiered March 27 with a celebration at Flint Street theater in New Haven. More than 30 friends and family members gathered to celebrate Howard and watch the documentary.

During his visit to CT State Manchester Howard discussed his start as an interviewer inspired by talk show host Oprah Winfrey, how he ended up getting banned from calling ESPN and his next professional chapter.
